To maintain a clear and structured licensing process through which applicants can understand the eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, fees, assessment procedures and continuing obligations associated with an Eritrea Gaming license.
To ensure that licenses are issued only to businesses, owners, directors and key persons that satisfy the Authority’s suitability, integrity and financial standing requirements.
To supervise licenses throughout the license term and require continued compliance with license conditions, reporting obligations and regulatory standards.
To require licensed operators to maintain appropriate responsible gaming controls, transparent terms, fair complaint procedures and safeguards for player funds and personal information.
To require risk based systems designed to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion and other unlawful use of licensed gaming services.
To promote gaming products that operate according to disclosed rules, approved technical standards and appropriate testing or certification requirements.
To respond to non compliance in a manner that reflects the seriousness, duration and impact of the breach, as well as the licensee’s cooperation and remedial action.
To maintain an accessible public register through which the status, scope and approved details of an Eritrea Gaming license may be independently confirmed.
To support cooperation with appropriate domestic and international authorities and to require licensees to respect the laws of the markets in which they operate.

Licensees must maintain compliance throughout the entire license term. Approval at the application stage does not remove the Authority’s power to request information, conduct reviews, impose additional conditions or take enforcement action where necessary.
