The licensing framework is based on Eritrea’s Business Licensing System Control and Business Licensing Office Establishment Proclamation No. 72/1995, as amended by Business Licensing Amendment Proclamation No. 128/2002, together with the individual conditions attached to internet gaming licenses.
A license must not be used to shield unlawful conduct or prevent cooperation with the Eritrean Gaming commission.
The Authority may consider regulatory licenses, approvals, testing certificates or due diligence conducted by another recognised body when assessing an application.
Any such recognition is discretionary and does not automatically entitle an applicant to an Eritrea Gaming license.
An Eritrea Gaming license authorises only the activities specified in the license and only to the extent permitted under Eritrean law.
An Eritrea Gaming license does not override the laws, prohibitions or regulatory requirements of another jurisdiction.
Review the available license categories and the process for applying for an Eritrea Gaming license.
