Code of Conduct for Licensed Operators

The Code of Conduct establishes the standards of professional behaviour expected of businesses licensed through the Eritrea Gaming framework.

The Code applies to B2C operators and, where relevant to their activities, B2B gaming suppliers and other approved service providers.

Compliance with the Code is a continuing condition of licensing. The Code operates together with applicable law, license conditions, regulatory standards and directions issued by the Authority.

Licenses must conduct their business honestly, responsibly and in a manner that supports confidence in the licensing framework.

Licenses remain responsible for regulated activities performed on their behalf.

Licensed operators must provide fair, transparent and responsible gaming services, protect player funds and information, maintain accessible complaint procedures and apply their terms consistently.

Obligations to the Authority

Licenses must maintain compliance, submit accurate reports, disclose material changes and cooperate fully with all lawful supervisory and enforcement activities.

A breach of the Code may constitute a breach of license conditions and may result in supervisory or enforcement action.
